The Bar Conference 2007

The Bar Conference will take place on Saturday 3rd November at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. The Theme is Human Rights - Taking Liberties.

Notable speakers include Sir Sydney Kentridge QC, Sir Christopher Meyer, Sir Geoffrey Nice QC and a video address by Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Other highlights include the Open Forum Debate “This Conference believes that the Human Rights Act should be Repealed” moderated by BBC Home Affairs Correspondent Danny Shaw featuring Dominic Grieve MP, Melanie Phillips, Hugh Tomlinson QC and Liberty Director, Shami Chakrabarti.”
