Extension of clearances HM Revenue & Customs provide to business owners

As part of the Pre-Budget Report 2007, HMRC announced that it would provide business with clearances for significant commercial issues. They also committed to responding to clearance applications normally within 28 days. HMRC have announced that the clearances service has been extended for a trial period to business owners in relation to inheritance tax business property relief.
